It has been crazy busy at work these few weeks! I haven’t even had time to breath, but I always make time to eat
For What I Ate Wednesday, here’s what I ate yesterday:
Had a leftover cupcake for breakfast – its my favorite chocolate cupcake filled with strawberry mousse and our silky vanilla frosting. This was for a custom event, but this flavor is amazing and needs a place on the menu! Perhaps in time for Valentine’s Day?
The majority of my day was consumed with baking, and by afternoonish I stepped out to grab lunch. In ‘N Out!!
Went back to work and did paperwork then experimented in the kitchen – creating a custom cupcake filled cookie for a client! Experimenting in the kitchen is always my favorite! What flavor do you want to try?
Dinner was Lemonade. Had portions of the kale salad (spicy and tasty, but on the oily side), curry cauliflower (love), and brussel sprouts (not tender enough for my liking). Also had the chipotle turkey sandwich, which was delicious.
I was craving super chewy cookies, so there was more baking after dinner. Homemade dark chocolate oatmeal cookies and truffles for dessert!
I also found this Lemon Dessert gum today!
It was interesting… I thought it would be a tangy gum, but its really sweet with more emphasis on the vanilla and powdered sugar components of a Lemon Square. Don’t think I would buy this again, but I am a fan of the Apple Pie and Key Lime Pie dessert gums in this line.
No time to sleep. Going back to work now!
